IN THIS LESSON

Where does the number 144,000 appear again (cf. Rev. 7:4)? It represents a specific group of people, just as 666 symbolizes the number of a human being (Rev. 13:18). Who are they? John the Seer describes them as follows: “They are celibate; they follow the Lamb wherever He goes… and no lie has been found in their mouths. They are without blemish” (v. 4-5). Does this mean that married Christians cannot be part of the Lamb’s army? Or if we have ever told a lie in our lives, can we not join them?
