IN THIS LESSON

The dragon pursues the woman, but she flees to the desert because she is given a pair of wings from a great eagle. She is hidden for “a time, two times, and half a time” (v. 14). What does that mean? The serpent’s ensuing water attack and the earth’s response sound like a fantasy movie, not only dramatic but also unrealistic. The battle scene ends with the dragon on the seashore, waiting for something worse to come, like in a horror movie. What’s next?
