Associate Pastor
God led Pastor Julie Raridan to this church when her youngest child was 7 months old. New to the area, she was looking for a church that would welcome her and her family with warmth and God’s love even though no one knew her. The people at First United Methodist Church, Yuba City, met and exceeded her expectations. After becoming a member of the church and watching God work in her life and the lives of her children, she knew God called her to pastoral ministry. Currently, Pastor Julie is on track to become an Elder in the United Methodist Church and humbly serves her first appointment at First United Methodist Church, Yuba City as an Associate Pastor. Prior to this year, she served on staff as the Caring Ministry Director for several years. Pastor Julie calls all who walk through the doors of God’s home her family. She welcomes the opportunity to sit, have a cup of coffee, and get to know her brothers and sisters in Christ.
